SFC7000-A is a medium-sized equipment of SFC7000 series products--next-generation multi-service traffic collection and distribution platform. SFC7000-A is 6U rack supporting 6 ATCA boards. It can support traffic exchange and aggregation between boards, as well as access and process multiple 10GE, 10G POS, 40GE, 40G POS and 100GE links. SFC7000-A can be used as basic front-end equipment for Telecom value-added services such as network optimization and information analysis etc., which are used for network traffic collection in scenarios of 3G core network, Metro network and IDC room etc.

Overview

SFC7000-A is a medium-sized equipment of SFC7000 series products--next-generation multi-service traffic collection and distribution platform. SFC7000-A is 6U rack supporting 6 ATCA boards. It can support traffic exchange and aggregation between boards, as well as access and process multiple 10GE, 10G POS, 40GE, 40G POS and 100GE links. SFC7000-A can be used as basic front-end equipment for Telecom value-added services such as network optimization and information analysis etc., which are used for network traffic collection in scenarios of 3G core network, Metro network and IDC room etc.


SFC7000-A is designed on the basis of open ATCA Telecom platform standard, providing carrier-level high reliability and strong scalability. As a result, it can meet a variety of complex needs such as traffic collection and distribution, analytical matching and application processing etc.

Application Bearing Board

SFC2240-104

Zone3 on the back panel provides 8*10GE interfaces and 8*GE interfaces (RT2108 of post IO board needs to be equipped additionally). Zone2 on the back panel is with bidirectional 20G bandwidth to load DPI application software packet.

SFC2242-101

ATCA application bearing board, with onboard TCAM, supports 4 AMC slots (4HP). Zone3 on the back panel provides 6*10GE interfaces and 4*GE interfaces (Extra RT2108 of post IO board is needed). Zone2 on the back panel is with bidirectional 40G bandwidth to load DPI application software packet.

Interface Card

IF1820-102

AMC interface card, supports 2 channels of 10G POS/10GE LAN/10GE WAN, SFP+ connectivity (Extra optical transceiver is needed.) The card needs to be used together with SFC2240 or SFC2242.

IF1821-102

AMC interface card, supports 2 channels of 10GE LAN/10GE WAN, SFP+ connectivity (Extra optical transceiver is needed). The card needs to be used together with SFC2240 or SFC2242.

Access Bearing Board

2-port OC768 access processing board, including 40G POS optical transceiver. Provides 12*10GE output ports (Extra 10GE optical transceiver is needed). The board is with onboard PPM sub card.

ATCA application processing board; PICMG3.1 R2.0 (Option9-KR) compliant; provides 2 channels of multi-core processing modules. 12*10GE interfaces (Extra SFP+ optical transceiver is needed) are designed on the front panel, and 16*10GE interfaces (Extra RT3016 for the post IO board is needed) are designed on the back panel Zone3. There is bidirectional 40G bandwidth between the back panel Zone2 and the switch board. DPI application software packet needs to be loaded.

Switch Board

SFC7124-201

ATCA switch board with an exchange capacity of 640G, is applicable to SFC7000 series. 24*10GE interfaces (Extra SFP+ optical transceiver is needed) are designed on the front panel. The back panel is with 40G rate. Onboard SFC7000 exchange management control software is provided.

Post Insert Board

RT2108-101

ATCA post insert board, 8*10GE ports and 8*GE ports can be provided by using together with SFC2240. 6*10GE ports and 4*GE ports can be provided by using together with SFC2242. The 10GE port can realize SFP+ connectivity and the GE port can realize SFP connectivity. Extra optical transceivers are needed.

ATCA post IO board; used together with SFC7112P-214; provides 16*10GE interfaces (Extra SFP+ optical transceiver is needed.)
